Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks in a safe and efficient manner to deliver goods to designated locations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and electronic communication with dispatch.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and DOT regulations.
- Report any mechanical issues or accidents immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Basic knowledge of truck operations and safety protocols.
- Reliable transportation to and from the terminal.
