Responsibilities
- Safe and Efficient Delivery: Transport packages to residential and commercial addresses in the Jacksonville area with accuracy and care.
- Customer Interaction: Provide friendly, professional, and courteous service to every customer during the delivery process.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform basic pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate digital logs of delivery times, package conditions, and customer signatures.
- Package Handling: Handle packages with care to prevent damage and ensure proper sorting.
- Schedule Adherence: Meet strict weekend shift deadlines to ensure timely distribution.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License: A valid Class C Driver's License is required.
- Vehicle Access: You must have access to a reliable vehicle suitable for local delivery (mileage reimbursement provided).
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) with no conflicts.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to interact positively with the public.
- Problem Solving: Ability to navigate unfamiliar routes and handle unexpected delivery challenges efficiently.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
