Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to deliver goods to local businesses and residential areas within the Dallas metroplex.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, miles, and delivery status.
- Interact professionally with customers, ensuring satisfaction and resolving any delivery issues promptly.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong knowledge of local Dallas geography and street layouts.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for performing routine vehicle maintenance checks.
