Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class B commercial vehicles for local deliveries within Detroit and surrounding counties
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Load/unload cargo using pallet jacks and manual handling techniques
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding route updates
- Maintain clean and organized cab workspace
Qualifications
- Valid Michigan Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B
- Minimum 1 year verifiable driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Detroit metro roadways
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills preferred
