Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (box trucks, vans) for local deliveries
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation software
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment (pallet jack, hand truck)
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Boston area geography
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for digital logs
- Flexibility for early morning/weekend shifts
