Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods on designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries while maximizing fuel economy
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding route conditions and delays
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate manual transmission
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Strong knowledge of El Paso area and surrounding regions
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Excellent time management and communication abilities
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
