Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated customer locations in a timely manner.
- Inspect vehicles before and after each route to ensure safety and mechanical integrity.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers to ensure satisfaction with deliveries.
- Prepare and organize packages for efficient loading and unloading.
- Complete all required delivery documentation and log daily mileage accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized personal work area and vehicle interior.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or standard Class C license depending on vehicle type.
- Achieve and maintain a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging and delivery verification.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
