Our fleet operates primarily in the San Antonio area with opportunities for long-haul routes. We are currently expanding and need dedicated professionals to keep our deliveries on time and safe.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and vans in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo safely, ensuring proper securing and weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (Driver's Daily Log) and electronic logging devices (ELD) in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is in safe operating condition.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any route changes.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the vehicle interior and exterior.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B (depending on truck type).
- Air Brake endorsement (if required for the position).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3-5 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, road conditions, and safe driving practices.
- Basic computer skills for logging and reporting.
