Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (trucks or tractor-trailers) to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and paperwork for DOT compliance
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and adhere to securement protocols
- Communicate with dispatch team regarding route changes, delays, or delivery issues
- Adhere to all federal/state traffic laws and company safety policies
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL license (or ability to obtain through our training program)
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for weight calculations and log maintenance
- Flexibility to work variable shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to climb, lift (up to 50 lbs), and sit for extended periods
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
