Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) safely and efficiently on various routes throughout Florida and the Southeast.
- Inspect vehicles pre-trip and post-trip to ensure compliance with safety standards and DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment, ensuring weight distribution is accurate.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation, including electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and any delays.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies to maintain a clean driving record.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Must possess a current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Must pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and background check.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical examination.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet strict delivery schedules.
