Responsibilities
- Safely transport K-12 students to and from school on designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain orderly conduct on the bus and ensure student safety
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and school district protocols
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and dispatch
- Document incidents and maintain accurate route logs
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with passenger endorsement
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Pass background check and DOT physical examination
- Child Passenger Safety Certification preferred
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and assist students with mobility needs
