Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, debris, and aggregates across Atlanta metropolitan sites
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections ensuring compliance with safety standards
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all transportation activities
- Coordinate with site supervisors and project managers to optimize delivery schedules
- Adapt routes in real-time based on traffic conditions and project priorities
- Perform minor equipment maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly
- Uphold strict environmental compliance protocols during material handling
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of commercial dump truck driving experience
- Current DOT medical certification and ability to pass mandatory drug screening
- Proficiency in operating heavy machinery and navigating complex urban routes
- Strong understanding of Atlanta's transportation infrastructure and traffic patterns
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Proven commitment to safety protocols and regulatory compliance
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
