Responsibilities
- Safely operate school buses on designated routes adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and vehicle maintenance checks
- Supervise students during loading/unloading and enforce bus rules
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and transportation coordinators
- Maintain accurate attendance and incident reports
- Assist students with mobility needs and ensure accessibility compliance
Qualifications
- Valid Oklahoma Commercial Driver's License (Class B with P/S endorsement)
- Minimum 2 years of driving experience
- Clean driving record and passing background check
- First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist students with special needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to punctuality and reliability
