Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles transporting goods across NC and NY
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain DOT compliance documentation
- Plan efficient routes while adhering to delivery schedules
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Communicate with dispatch teams and clients regarding shipment status
- Maintain clean driving record and adhere to all safety protocols
- Utilize electronic logging systems for accurate record-keeping
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with minimum 2 years experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Experience with refrigerated or flatbed trailers preferred
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management and customer service skills
