Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver medical specimens, lab samples, and documents to designated healthcare facilities and laboratories in the Plano area.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and HIPAA regulations regarding the handling of sensitive medical materials.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Utilize handheld GPS devices to track routes and ensure accurate delivery timing.
- Provide exceptional customer service to healthcare staff by ensuring packages are received and signed for properly.
- Complete daily logs and vehicle inspection reports accurately.
- Handle occasional heavy lifting of medical supplies as required.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years).
- Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends if necessary.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to navigate the Plano area efficiently.

- Basic computer literacy for using handheld delivery devices.
