Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, blood products, and pharmaceuticals in temperature-controlled containers
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols and chain-of-custody procedures
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic documentation
- Coordinate with healthcare facilities for efficient pickup/dropoff schedules
- Perform vehicle inspections and ensure proper maintenance of courier equipment
- Respond promptly to urgent delivery requests with professionalism
Qualifications
- Valid Nebraska driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year experience in medical logistics or healthcare delivery
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and navigate medical facility layouts
- Knowledge of biohazard handling and OSHA safety standards
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Basic familiarity with electronic tracking systems
