Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, pharmaceuticals, and equipment between clinics, labs, and hospitals
- Maintain strict temperature control protocols for sensitive shipments
- Complete accurate delivery documentation and electronic tracking updates
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance standards and chain-of-custody procedures
- Perform vehicle inspections and routine maintenance checks
- Communicate delivery status updates to dispatch and healthcare partners
- Resolve delivery exceptions with proactive problem-solving
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs)
- High school diploma or equivalent; medical training preferred
- Experience with medical specimen handling or pharmaceutical transport
- Proficiency with electronic tracking systems and mobile technology
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
- Background check and drug screening required
