Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, lab samples, and medical equipment to various healthcare facilities and laboratories in the Minneapolis metro area.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, company safety policies, and HIPAA compliance standards when handling sensitive patient data.
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, delivery times, and vehicle condition in our digital dispatch system.
- Inspect vehicles prior to and after each shift to ensure cleanliness and mechanical safety.
- Provide exceptional customer service to healthcare professionals at drop-off and pick-up locations.
- Handle packages with the utmost care to ensure the integrity of medical samples is preserved.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Ability to pass a DOT drug screen and background check.
- Basic understanding of medical terminology and specimen handling protocols.
- Reliable personal vehicle or access to a company vehicle.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Physical stamina to lift packages (up to 50 lbs) and navigate various terrains.
- Proficient with smartphone technology for navigation and reporting.
