Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, blood products, and pharmaceuticals in temperature-controlled containers
- Maintain precise delivery schedules using GPS tracking and real-time routing systems
- Document all shipments with electronic manifests and chain-of-custody logs
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols for patient data confidentiality
- Perform vehicle safety inspections and maintain clean, organized transport vehicles
- Communicate effectively with lab technicians, clinics, and hospital staff
- Respond to urgent delivery requests with urgency and professionalism
Qualifications
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent; medical background preferred
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and handle specimens safely
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Experience with temperature-controlled transport a plus
- Proficiency with digital tracking systems and mobile apps
- Exceptional attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Background check and drug screen required
