Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, pharmaceuticals, and lab equipment to healthcare facilities
- Maintain temperature-controlled environments for sensitive materials during transit
- Document deliveries and maintain accurate chain-of-custody records
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure timely pickups and deliveries
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and safety protocols at all times
- Perform vehicle safety checks and maintain cleanliness of transport units
- Communicate delivery status and exceptions through mobile tracking systems
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year experience in medical or specimen transport
- OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens certification preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shifts
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Proficiency with mobile tracking and documentation apps
- Pass background check and drug screening
