Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks on local delivery routes within the Philadelphia metropolitan area.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand tools, ensuring weight distribution is correct.
- Maintain accurate logs (DOT compliant) and paperwork, including bills of lading and delivery receipts.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations at all times.
- Interact professionally with customers and warehouse staff to ensure satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Minimum of 1 year of driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
