Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks to deliver and pick up cargo within a local radius.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload freight safely, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation as required by DOT regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients at delivery points.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screening.
- Strong knowledge of local Los Angeles area streets and traffic patterns.
- Basic mechanical skills to perform minor vehicle troubleshooting.
- Reliable personal transportation to and from work sites.
