Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and delivery vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and DOT compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securement and handling of goods.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, bills of lading, and delivery receipts.
- Interact professionally with customers and warehouse personnel at delivery points.
- Adhere strictly to company safety policies, including seatbelt usage and mobile phone regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL with the appropriate endorsements (Tanker, Hazmat, or Doubles/Triples preferred but not required).
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Physical) and DOT drug screen clearance.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and driving record review.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing tasks associated with loading/unloading freight.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
