Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks to deliver and pick up cargo in a safe and timely manner within the local area.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Load and unload freight efficiently, ensuring cargo is secure and undamaged.
- Complete all required delivery documentation accurately and in a timely fashion.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance while representing RoadRunner Transport Solutions.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Current DOT medical card and DOT physical examination on file.
- Strong knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns in Georgia.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor vehicle troubleshooting.
