As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of freight to our valued customers across Central Ohio. Whether you are an experienced veteran or looking to get back on the road, we offer a supportive environment and modern equipment.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) to deliver freight to designated stops on time.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads.
- Maintain accurate logs (DVIR) and communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes or delays.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Represent the company professionally while interacting with customers at delivery locations.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B (depending on equipment).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than two moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a DOT drug screen and physical exam.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and modern fleet management software.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
