Responsibilities
- Safely deliver packages and documents to local residences and businesses within Fort Wayne city limits
- Verify delivery addresses and maintain accurate delivery records using our mobile app
- Provide exceptional customer service during drop-offs and handle basic inquiries
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and maintain clean, organized delivery vehicles
- Optimize delivery routes for efficiency using GPS navigation tools
- Communicate delivery status updates to dispatch and customers in real-time
- Assist with package loading/unloading and warehouse organization as needed
Qualifications
- Valid Indiana driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 3 years)
- Reliable personal vehicle with valid insurance coverage
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and navigate stairs/delivery obstacles
- Strong time management skills with punctual delivery history
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery app navigation and communication
- Excellent customer service communication and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of Fort Wayne neighborhoods and local traffic patterns
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
