Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight between warehouses, distribution centers, and client locations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Accurately complete delivery documentation and maintain electronic logs
- Coordinate with dispatch team to optimize delivery routes and maintain timely schedules
- Handle loading/unloading of freight using proper equipment and techniques
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions
- Report maintenance issues and vehicle defects promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and operate loading equipment
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and HOS compliance
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
- Basic computer literacy for digital documentation
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexible availability including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
