Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for freight transport across designated routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient load management and delivery timelines
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage loading/unloading operations with warehouse personnel
- Utilize GPS technology for route optimization and real-time tracking
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery and pickup interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable freight driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and fleet management systems
- Strong knowledge of hazardous materials handling (Hazmat endorsement preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Must be 23+ years of age with clean background check
