Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (24-26 ft) for local/regional freight delivery
- Manage daily route planning and timely delivery of goods
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Communicate effectively with dispatch clients and warehouse staff
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Maximize load efficiency and minimize empty miles
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- Basic mechanical knowledge and maintenance skills
- Strong time management and organizational abilities
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Reliable personal vehicle for local meetings
- Smartphone with GPS and data capabilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
