Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight within San Francisco Bay Area
- Load/unload shipments using pallet jacks and forklift equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and route documentation
- Inspect vehicles before/after routes for compliance and safety
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Assist with inventory management at warehouse facilities
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of San Francisco geography and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer literacy for documentation systems
