Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (box trucks/straight trucks) for local and regional freight delivery
- Load/unload cargo using pallet jacks and hand trucks while adhering to safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking documentation
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments and customer communications
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and company safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate loading equipment
- Strong time-management skills with punctual delivery history
- Familiarity with Virginia Beach metro area navigation systems
- Pass background check and drug screening per DOT requirements
- Basic computer literacy for digital documentation systems
