Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight and goods within Southern California
- Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Load/unload cargo using appropriate equipment while maintaining inventory records
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and team members regarding delivery status
- Adhere to all traffic regulations and company policies while on the road
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience in freight/logistics
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate loading equipment safely
- Strong knowledge of Santa Ana and surrounding areas
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Basic computer literacy for logging and reporting systems
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
