Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight across designated routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient route planning and delivery scheduling
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, safety protocols, and company policies
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and securement techniques
- Document delivery receipts and resolve delivery discrepancies
- Maintain clean driving record and adhere to Hours of Service (HOS) requirements
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Familiarity with Tucson metro area and Arizona highway systems
- Basic knowledge of freight documentation and bill of lading processes
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
