Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (box trucks, flatbeds) within San Francisco Bay Area
- Load/unload freight using pallet jacks and forklifts (certification provided)
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Optimize routes using GPS navigation for on-time deliveries
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip for safety compliance
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Assist in warehouse operations during peak hours
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with clean MVR (no DUIs in 3 years)
- 1+ year commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Knowledge of San Francisco traffic patterns and delivery zones
- Basic forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
