Responsibilities
- Execute time-sensitive package and food deliveries across Kansas City metro area during overnight shifts (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to minimize delivery times and fuel consumption
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for inventory and billing purposes
- Inspect vehicles daily to ensure safety compliance and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during after-hours interactions and resolve delivery issues promptly
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols during nocturnal operations
Qualifications
- Valid Missouri driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience or equivalent delivery background
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong navigational skills and familiarity with Kansas City streets and neighborhoods
- Reliable smartphone with GPS capabilities and constant communication access
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required by delivery schedules
- Pass background check and drug screening per company policy
