Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class B CDL) to transport freight across Ohio and surrounding regions
- Perform thorough pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload freight using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Adhere to DOT regulations, delivery schedules, and customer-specific requirements
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse staff, and clients
- Document delivery exceptions and resolve customer service issues promptly
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all traffic laws
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience with freight
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Cincinnati metro area and Ohio highway systems
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Basic computer proficiency for delivery documentation
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service excellence
- Availability to work flexible shifts including early mornings/weekends
