Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials (dirt, gravel, asphalt)
- Pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatchers for efficient routing
- Perform minor equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Represent the company professionally at job sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years dump truck driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Knowledge of local Chula Vista/San Diego routes
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Physical ability to perform manual labor (loading/unloading)
- Good communication skills
