Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport various materials (soil, gravel, concrete, etc.) to designated locations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is in safe working condition.
- Secure loads properly to prevent shifting and ensure safety during transit.
- Maintain a clean and organized cab and truck bed.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and site supervisors regarding delivery schedules and any issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with necessary endorsements (Tanker or Hazmat preferred).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of driving experience in a dump truck or heavy haul context.
- Proven track record of a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labor, including loading and unloading materials.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are mandatory.
