Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks safely to transport construction materials, dirt, and debris to job sites
- Conduct pre-trip/post-trip inspections and complete daily maintenance logs
- Maintain clean vehicles and adhere to all DOT/FMCSA regulations
- Collaborate with foremen to coordinate delivery schedules and site logistics
- Ensure proper loading/unocking procedures to prevent spills and damage
- Document delivery tickets and maintain accurate hauling records
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year experience operating dump trucks or heavy hauling equipment
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening (pre-employment and random)
- Knowledge of Bakersfield/Kern County roads and industrial zones
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong communication skills and commitment to safety compliance
