Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks safely to transport construction materials, debris, and aggregates
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage loading/unloading operations at job sites
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and site supervisors
- Ensure timely deliveries within assigned routes
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years dump truck experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting
- Strong time management and punctuality
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Familiarity with Detroit metro area roads
