Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks safely to transport construction materials and debris to designated sites
- Perform pre-trip inspections and document vehicle maintenance requirements
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and comply with DOT regulations
- Collaborate with site supervisors to ensure timely material placement
- Adhere to strict safety protocols for equipment and site-specific hazards
- Manage minor repairs and report mechanical issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years experience operating dump trucks or heavy equipment
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Chula Vista/San Diego County roadways
- Pass mandatory background check and drug screening
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification preferred
