Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks for material transport (asphalt, gravel, soil)
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and complete daily logs
- Maintain clean vehicles and report maintenance needs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatchers for efficient route planning
- Load/unload materials at construction sites and landfills
- Assist in basic minor repairs and preventative maintenance
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years dump truck experience
- Clean MVR with no DUIs in past 5 years
- DOT medical certification current
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in all weather
- Knowledge of Boston area roads and construction zones
- Strong communication and time management skills
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
