Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, debris, and aggregates to designated sites
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and routine maintenance checks to ensure vehicle roadworthiness
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation of materials transported
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery routes and timelines
- Assist with loading/unloading operations when required at job sites
- Report mechanical issues and coordinate with maintenance team for repairs
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with air brakes endorsement
- Minimum 1 year experience operating dump trucks or heavy commercial vehicles
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Strong knowledge of Arizona traffic laws and construction site safety protocols
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills for heavy equipment
- Ability to work independently in various weather conditions
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and occasional overtime
