Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials (gravel, asphalt, debris) to/from job sites
- Perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle logs per DOT regulations
- Coordinate with dispatch and site supervisors for efficient loading/unloading operations
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and traffic laws in all weather conditions
- Basic maintenance tasks including fluid checks, tire inspections, and cleaning
- Complete digital delivery documentation and mileage tracking
- Support emergency response operations during weather-related disruptions
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with air brake endorsement
- Minimum 2 years dump truck operation experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and random drug screening
- Knowledge of Buffalo-area infrastructure and construction zones
- Physical capability to climb equipment and lift up to 50 lbs
- Basic equipment troubleshooting skills
- Flexible availability including weekends and early mornings
