Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks safely to transport construction materials, debris, and bulk goods
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and DOT regulations
- Coordinate with dispatchers and site supervisors for efficient operations
- Load/unload materials at construction sites and landfills
- Ensure cargo security during transport
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Hazmat endorsement
- Minimum 2 years dump truck operation experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with New Orleans metro area and surrounding parishes
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and time-management abilities
