Responsibilities
- Safely operate school buses on designated routes and field trips
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate student attendance and incident records
- Implement emergency procedures and student safety protocols
- Communicate professionally with parents, staff, and dispatch
- Ensure ADA compliance for student mobility needs
- Adhere to all federal/state transportation regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Oregon CDL with School Bus/S endorsement
- Clean driving record (3+ years)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- First Aid/CPR certification
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and assist students with mobility
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Experience working with children preferred
