Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to/from school and field trips
- Pre-trip/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain strict adherence to traffic laws & safety protocols
- Manage student behavior with positive reinforcement
- Communicate effectively with parents & school staff
- Complete incident reports as needed
- Maintain clean & orderly bus interior
Qualifications
- Valid California Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Pass Department of Transportation physical exam
- Clear background check & fingerprinting
- Minimum 25 years of age
- Excellent driving record (no major violations)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong communication & conflict resolution skills
- Experience working with children preferred
