Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, debris, or waste to designated sites
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate trip logs
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch and site supervisors for efficient operations
- Perform basic truck maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly
- Ensure proper loading/unloading of materials following safety guidelines
- Maintain clean and organized truck interior/exterior
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year experience operating dump trucks or heavy vehicles
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with San Jose and Bay Area road systems
- Strong attention to safety and detail-oriented mindset
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting
