Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, debris, or waste to designated sites
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle safety systems
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as per DOT regulations
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize routes and meet delivery timelines
- Ensure proper loading/unloading procedures to prevent material spillage
- Report maintenance issues and coordinate with mechanics for repairs
- Adhere strictly to all federal, state, and local traffic laws
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with hazardous materials endorsement preferred
- Minimum 2 years of dump truck or heavy equipment operation experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in outdoor weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Henderson area routes and industrial zones
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexible availability including early mornings and weekends
