As a Delivery Driver, you will be the vital link between our warehouse and our valued customers. We pride ourselves on punctuality, safety, and providing a positive unboxing experience. Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages to designated residential and commercial addresses within the Virginia Beach metro area.
- Interact professionally with customers, ensuring a friendly and professional delivery experience.
- Utilize company mobile applications to scan packages, update tracking status, and navigate optimal routes.
- Inspect delivery vehicles daily and report any maintenance issues immediately to maintain a fleet in top condition.
- Handle package handling with extreme care, ensuring items are delivered intact and undamaged.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company driving policies.
- Collect and process payments or proof of delivery signatures accurately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations within the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficient use of smartphone technology for navigation and app-based communication.
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in delivery or logistics is a plus.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
